so has anyone actually managed to get a zone unlocked on a smart controller? Due to a recent flysafe DB change I am now in an NFZ. not legaly in a NFZ but according to DJI am in a NFZ. Unlock they said - its easy they said....

well i tried with the SMS option - the new ( default) method plainly doesnt work as the keyboard doesnt go from the screen once you have entered the PIN - so you cant hit submit or enter


the old method doesnt work and just gives the error - unlock failed see video


DJI i cant even check my drone without driving 1km due to a mistake in your geofencing. I cant even start it in my own conservatory where CAA rules dont apply.

This is an area of some frustration for me as I'm in the same situation, I find the the unlocking process via the controller is fairly unreliable. Sometimes it works with no issues and sometimes it will not. I had success since using the old method and then also the new default. I'll test again later and see if I can reproduce what you are seeing.
