About a week ago I decided to go for a flight because the weather was looking good. So I did. But something unusual happened. In both flights, the weather changed rapidly and I managed to fly through a snowstorm. When do you actually do that? If there is a snow storm you usually just wait till it's over and then you fly, but in this case I already in the air so I had to use this opportunity to capture something I haven't captured before.
Myami is the most mesmerizing city. Every time I look at our skyline it gets bigger and better. I just love the way our city sits on the water. It's like we're floating.
Over the past six months I have gone all out capturing Miami from a whole new perspective. I've gone above and beyond the usual spots and as a result I have stumbled upon some of the most breathtaking views of this city, many which have never been seen before, until today.
This was my first real attempt to put together a video with the Mavic 2 Pro. Thought I would share it here as well. Totally impressed with the range, flight time, video quality, photo quality...basically everything about it.
It's a summary of year 2018 by team Slackline Canarias. I hope that you'll enjoy wtaching it as much as we do living it.
Side note: Mavic PRO did a great job not only filming, but as well making the rigging of most of those lines possible. This brawe drone could quite easly haul 500m of fishing line across the gap ;)
Part 1. My winter trip to Blue Lake. In winter, it is even more saturated color)) This time, he took a stream, which merges with the river Shungut. In winter, there is especially beautiful. In the summer, the surrounding greenery takes on the beauty of this place, and in winter, nothing interferes.
In the second part I will show something else ... Guess what? Imagine in the comments.
Some of my previous footage stitched together, hope you all enjoy. Special thanks to Madebyvadim for his/her tutorial on how to improve your videos, check it out in the tutorial section of the forum, it inspired me to spend a bit more time than usual editing my video.
Holding umbrella while shooting is challenging enough but OP has better chance than other cameras. I set ND 8, 4K/24P, Shutter speed 1/50, Cinelike D and shoot away that whole day.
Segovia is a Spanish city and municipality in the southern part of the autonomous community of Castilla y León, capital of the province of the same name. It is located at the confluence of the Eresma and Clamores rivers, at the foot of the Guadarrama mountain range. The old city and the aqueduct of Segovia were declared World Heritage by Unesco in 1985. The aqueduct, 818 meters long, is considered the most important Roman civil engineering work in Spain, and is one of the most significant monuments and better preserved than those left by the Romans in the Iberian Peninsula…
I went skiing in sweden and norway and it was my first "real life" use of the osmo pocket. Fair to say it was up to the task! Osmo Pocket + Spark is a real small size combo.
Everything except the drone shots were done with the osmo pocket. I tryed without pro mode and filters to see what it can do on its own.
I am an Irish landscape photographer and everytime i head out shooting i generally capture some drone footage and put it together into a cinematic video, with the intention of capturing some of ireland's rugged beauty and landscapes so here is my 'This is Ireland' video, it is short but all footage was captured over the course of 9 months. Shot on dji spark, Mavic Pro and Olympus EM1 MK2 camera.
TOP Gear defines Italy's Stelvio Pass:: "One of the World's greatest roads". The Stelvio Pass (Italian: Passo dello Stelvio) is a mountain pass in northern Italy, at an elevation of 2,757 m (9,045 ft) above sea level. It is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps, and the second highest in the Alps.
The original road was built in 1820–25 by the Austrian Empire to connect the former Austrian province of Lombardy with the rest of Austria, covering a climb of 1,871 m (6,138 ft) The engineer and project manager was Carlo Donegani (1775–1845). Since then, the route has changed very little. Its seventy-five hairpin turns, 48 of them on the northern side numbered with stones, are a challenge to motorists. Stirling Moss went off the road here during a vintage car event in the 1990s, with an onboard video of his incident being shown on satellite TV.
Before the end of World War I, it formed the border between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Italian Kingdom. The Swiss had an outpost and a hotel (which was destroyed) on the Dreisprachenspitze (literally, Three-Language-Peak). During World War I, fierce battles were fought in the ice and snow of the area, with gun fire even crossing the Swiss area at times. The three nations made an agreement not to fire over Swiss territory, which jutted out in between Austria (to the north) and Italy (to the south). Instead they could fire down the pass, as Swiss territory was up and around the peak. After 1919, with the expansion of Italy, the pass lost its strategic importance.
Best settings for gimbal and flight control for DJI drones
How to set up the controls for gimbal and flight in DJI drones for smooth video. Made on a DJI Mavic 2 zoom, but the settings are very similars in most DJI models (Phantom, Mavic and Spark). Tilting the camera up or down, modify the EXP values: Throttle up, Rotate right, Forward/right for panning, ascending/descending, and moving sideways. How to set Yaw sensitivity.
In this video I explain what ND (Neutral Density) filters are, what they do and how they affect the look of your footage. I also try to break down some misconceptions to help you decide if you need them for your drone. Although this was done exclusively with my DJI Spark, the information is relevant to any drone or even a DSLR as all the same photography principals apply.
I just published my latest video on the proper care of your Mavic 2 Battery. These things aren't cheap, neither is the drone, so with some simple steps you can ensure that the battery offers a long useful life!
In this one I’m showing you how to design and mix the sound in your drone videos! It’s a fairly easy process but it enhances your videos drastically! I’m showing the process in Adobe Premiere, but the same workflow can be applied in other editing software as well! I mainly cover the concepts and I rush through things to get the important info as fast as possible. If there’s anything left unclear, feel free to ask in the comments of the video!

Cool pics. Guys I need some epic advice from you'll cause I'm building a drone (myself) and I want it to work and look like the DJI Inspire. Everything else in the drone is done except for the retracting arms. Just wondering how to fix the retracting motor to the reciever and to the battery and how to fix the switch to the transmitter. Really confusing and hard for me. You all are pros so pls send some help for me. Please.

Mauro Pagliai's photo (1st listed) is incredible. Would love to see a little write-up with details. It's got to be edited in post. None of my DJI drones can expose/ produce images like that untouched.
It demonstrate the potential and it's exciting. Thank you for sharing.
