Anyone know why when in RTH is comes back diagonal?  This was the same with my other drones w/ a computer different than DJI, it was Feiyu-tech.

In aviation terminology, this phenomenon is called crabbing. The Spark is notorious for doing this in the wind.

yeah but I think it's flying in + mode instead of x but it's not the wind because it was it still "crabbed" on the front right motor leading instead of the front left one when coming from the other direction

I've only ever experienced this on the Inspire 1 and the Spark - very strange

Well Spark is the only drone I have but after reading "n" number of posts about this issue with no satisfactory solution, I have stopped raking my brains over it. It doesn't happen regularly and usually occurs at speeds greater than 20kmph in my experience.

Definitely an odd one

I try not to use RTH at all and do it manually with a map in low left corner. If you tap on this map it opens on the whole screen and it is easier to orientate.

It does come home even with the crabbing. It is only your footage which looks bad when it happens. And as I said above, it is not related to RTH. It happens when their is wind beyond a certain level and the AC is flying at speeds more than 20kmph (which can be true for both RTH and Sports mode).

My Feiyu-tech drone way back crabbed on RTH.
