so this is a bit of a wow moment.

Despite taking lots of 360 panorama photos, I have not Once been able to Upload them to Facebook to be viewed in 360 panorama mode.

I tried everything, tweaking the image, using apps to change it, using my Mac to post via a browser, all methods failed or post it as a 360 image.

Funny thing is Facebook has a 360 image mode and even recognised the photos as 360, but every time you post them they just ended up flat.

But thanks to one of the Mavic users on Facebook, he told me that he just used his android phone and it worked every time.

So guess what, tried it from the android smart controller and bingo worked first Time!

No more messing wirh skypixel for me now!

So that picture was an upload from the camera roll which showed it as a 360. Posted from my iPad.

As you can see despite using the android smart controller and posting directly to this forum even that does not post it as a pano/360!

I have been posting them to Kuula.  Obviously, there's some processing needed to display them as 360 and scrollable, left/right/up/down.  And another process to display them as Tiny Planet images.

If you click on my ID, you can see some others.

Upper right has icons to show as a scrolling "flat" image or show as Tiny Planet.

Your welcome.

A lot of people say yeah it’s a piece of cake to post 360 photos.

And in theory it should be.

For example Facebook supports them and should recognise them automatically.

The reality is something different of course.

For example if you only use a pc or Mac to view Facebook in a browser it often won’t display as a 360.

And as o found out if you post from an iOS device, Facebook won’t dispel it in the 360!

Your welcome.

I will add - when I viewed one of my Kuula 360's from the website on my Android Blackberry phone I was surprised, more amazed, as I turned and moved the phone the 360 shifted and changed the perspective obviously reacting to the phone's gyro sensors.  It was fun but dizzying.

And again, the starting images are static, flat images.  So the viewing platform has to have some processing schemes to turn them into moveable, scrollable 360's that are, well, alive.  Since I don't do facebook, I don't know what they do or how they translate the image into 360's.
