Hi,

Does anyone know if the white DJI googles can be used just for viewing a mirror image of the phone/ipad screen using a Mavic 2 Zoom without the controls changing?  

I do not want the touch pad to reconfigure the controller settings, (C1 C2 and 5d buttons), functions all change as soon as the googles are switched on irrespective of setting on the controller.  This is not hepful for my filming / photographic uses hence I very rarely use the googles.

I have tried unlinking them and pluging them in, I have tried downgrading the software so that it cannot recognise a Mavic 2, both result in a blank DJI screen with some data when plugged in but no image.  

Is there a way to have a mirror image of my ipad screen or just camera without the controller settings changing or to disable the touchpad controls?

I`m not sure that this is what you want, but ...

To avoid accidental gestures on the pad you can lock it by placing two fingers on the side and swiping back.
To unlock the pad place two fingers on the side and swipe away from your head.
