It started off, light blue, then changed to dark blue, then changed back to red.

Glad to see it FINALLY worked for you!  Was the new DJI Asst 2 the key for you in getting it to work successfully?

at last after hours of frustration and nearly binning it using usb 2.0 worked for me and not usb 3.0, god knows why.

yep getting the latest version of assistant v2.0.8 seemed to fix it!!

Hi , Im using a Mac and i found that i had to totally remove the old assistant 2 app before i reinstalled the updated app and it updated perfectly, the date issue has gone for sure because when i looked at my wifi settings wifi was switched off but the date was correct,

Sadly it’s not working for us.

Tried twice using assistant v2 over usb, both failed at 97%.

Have you updated DJI Assistant 2.0.8 before trying? I missed the notice to do so. Mine also failing at 97% twice before I noticed the message.

Ok back to the topic.
Yes assistent 2.08!should  be downloaded first. I also had 2 updates failed. Eventually it worked. However after the update i had to still change the time of the sc as it was 1 hour ahead. When you reboot or startup the sc , it starts with the time 1 hour ahead and in less then a second it jumps to the correct time ( this without wifi connected) but after a few times starting up the time doesnt jump back anymore to the correct time and you have to adjust it manually again.so its already better then 18 jan 2013.

Also you have to sync your flightrecords again, as they all vanished from the sc

Just in case you did not spot it in all the posts, we got ours working in the end.

The key was making sure we were using the latest version of assistant V2.0.8.

Even V2.0.6 the version we were using did not work.

We were thrown at first before we believed we had downloaded the very latest version from the dji website.

For some reason the version we were downloading only installed an old version of the original assistant V1.

I hope everyone else is updated now too.

It does actually say that these are no longer supported in fairness.

Can someone check after the new fw update following?:
first disable wifi from sc
Then turn off sc completely
Then start up the sc

Left top corner of opening screen , is your time correct? Or 1 or 2 hours more or less?

Time on my sc adds constantely 1 hour up , even with the right gmt time area set

Update on SC successful here. Needed the new Assist 2 and SD card removed. Fixes time stamp error.

My Win7 computer is having real issues.  When I open Assistant 2/0.8, it does not show the Version in the lower right corner only showing a letter "V"   And neither the drone nor the SC show up when attached using usb2 or usb3 ports.  2.0.7 worked earlier this week on this computer to upgrade the Zoom.  Now NOTHING!

Ive uptaded using just SR and it worked just fine....

Peli711 That's disappointing. The time seems to be stable in my time zone GMT+1 BST. Does the date persist OK?

Well I wasted 2 hours of my life yesterday and it took six attempts before my SRC updated.

And it looks like the date bug has been squashed for me here in the UK anyway.

Glad you finally got there in the end but it really shouldn’t be like this should it?

And despite what DJI state about having to use DJI Assistant 2.08 a friend of mine updated directly from his SRC yesterday and I just posted in the thread of another user who done the same!

My friend updated seamlessly in @15 minutes just using his Smart Controller...

Update for dual RC, simply gives you Master Remote and slave, slave RC can operate all control just as the master, yes everything with no exceptions.
Master Controller can at anytime control slave RC .

Can’t say 100% but can’t see why it wouldn’t dji would have to add some FW or SW to stop this from working, my smart controller is in being repaired so cannot try it , but I’m sure if some can just turn on both and it to confirm .
