I have tried numerous times to connect my Smart Controller to my iPhone X using Go Share so I can transfer images. When attempting to make the initial connection by reading the QR code on the SC, I consistently get the following "Connection Failed" warning in DJI Go 4 on my iPhone w/ instructions that are not helpful (looks like a coding error). I have tried restarting everything. I reloaded DJI Go 4 on my iPhone, checked to make sure that I can get a solid network connection from my SC (I can), and when trying to connect manually through Go Share, no WiFi service from the SC comes up in the iPhone's list of networks, so I can't even make the connection manually.
Has anyone else had this problem and know of a solution?

Mine was connecting fine. But came to do some transfers today and it will not connect ? Deleted an reinstalled the Go4 app and factory reset the smart controller still won’t connect. Strange how it was fine two days ago ?

Then thought I’m going through this Smart controller section at a time slowly. I’m going through the menu for manual tethering noticed at the bottom 5Ghz clicked on that get an option of 2.4Ghz an 5Ghz changed it to 2.4Ghz and Sh1t a brick it works !!!

Allow an accurate explanation that after changing the settings in me still does not work.  Explain where to enter and what to change

Settings, More...., Go Share, Set Go Share Hotspot, scroll down to select AP Band choose 2.4GHz band or 5GHz band. Hope that helps

Can connect using the QR code, im using a s10 and nothing, the iPhone Xr worked. but not the s10, and i have used it before. is very odd.

Settings, More...., Go Share, Set Go Share Hotspot, scroll down to select AP Band choose 2.4GHz band or 5GHz band. Hope that helps

well it worked for an hour now back to square one its asking scan QR code which i do then get "connection failed"

Resetting your network settings worked for me

Changing the setting to 2.4Ghz AP band sorted me out here too. Huawei Mate 20 Pro & SC even though the 20 pro supports 5ghz wifi.

I'll soon have nothing more to pull out ... I can't get it. Wireless with GO4 via QR no chance, but no problems with the iPhone camera. BT connection also problem-free. The image transfer with GoShare to an iPhone 8 - doesn't work !? No problem with a cable to the iMac. I give up ... and use the cable.

Have you resolved issues??? I am trying to connect to an iPhone...... it is doing my head in

Check the setting in the Go-share app on your phone. Make sure it’s set to allow for the local network to be used

That fixed my problem

I was having the same problem connecting SC to iPhone 12 and this changing frequency tip solved the issue straight away. Many thanks Wheeler.
