I saw on a youtube video the feature to recenter the gimbal after moving it from left to right with the customizible button. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGpjLrngxBI)
I see that option when the aircraft is not connected.
I don't see that when the aircraft is connected.
The work around to recenter:
select the look down then look forward.
This isn't a good method if your recording

Is this going to be an option for 5D button or C1/2 buttons?

You pan the gimbal left and right by touching and dragging the screen. You can set gimbal to drop -90 or be level to the horizon (reset to centre) as either a customisable option using the C1/C2 buttons &/or as an option with the 5D button. Make sure you are on the latest FW and app versions.

when the aircraft isn't connected,   the option is called  recenter gimbal.
When the aircraft is connected, that option doesn't show

previous version does the same thing.

That option looks down first and then up.
Plus why is that option only available when the aircraft isn't connected?
(Strange to me)

I have the smart controller. Which should have more options than the basic controller

It won't have  more options as it uses the same app.

It depends as the Android OS will have a few minor differences to iOS and the SC uses Android.

That is a bug in your RC for sure. Try refreshing the FW on the RC.

I dont think this is a version issue. Same thing happened in other versions

I also can see the option recenter gimbal when not connected. When connected its gone. Developers must have forgotten this. As usual with most updates , dji solves 1 thing and creates at same time another issue. Keeps them and us busy i guess!
Anyway maybe one of the moderators can inform the developers as for me it is an important feature to put in.

The inspire 2 Controller has the option as well

Ok great that the ball is rolling

They told me the Camera Forward/Down is that option. Which I believe is total crap
they probably don't want that feature to be released for the smart controller.
