We have all made many suggestions for improvements in the last 3 months.
When will these proposals be implemented?
In the last update 2 months ago nothing of the proposals was implemented.
For example:
- shorter time lapse intervals
- better audio recording with external microphone (stereo)
- and many others

Just because things have been asked for, doesn't mean they will ever happen. DJI will never tell people when to expect updates.

You have no option. You have no control over the situation. Even the owners of DJI have no power over the time the update will happen. Software development is time consuming, and an uncontrollable time wise. They need to develop a list of features. Lock the list of new features at some point, and have the programmers get at it. There maybe a target release date, but getting it right is more important than getting it right now.

The Codecs, Write speed available on the media can’t handle either. Start saving, there will be many more before 7.1 channel sound, let alone 8K video you can’t afford the device to watch it on, never mind shoot in.

And then there is the machine needed to efficiently process it!

You'll need an 8K monitor, cheapest I could find was this one from B&H for $3450.00
(https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/p ... sharp_32_ultra.html)

The computer will have to be scratch built. You will need the fastest processor, and graphics card. 64GB or DDR4 RAM, and oh, a really fast RAID. Let's look at one with 4 X 2TB SSD's or preferably M.2. Budget something like $10K for the computer.

So, $13,500 in new edit gear, to process 8K shot on a sensor smaller than what's on a cell phone which will not look good.

Go for it. Completely worth it. Oh, did I mention no one can see your 8K creation because aside from a few movie studios, no one has an 8K screen or projector.
