It refers to a valley that stretches about 4 kilometers from Hoamso to Yongchu Falls.
It is said that Kim Hyo-won, a Samcheok priest during the Joseon Dynasty,
was named "Murung Do-won," according to a legend that Shinseon was playing.
Set in Dutasan Mountain and Cheongoksan Mountain,
the valley is famous for its Giamese Monument, Mureung Stone, and Blue Noodles.
During the Goryeo Dynasty, Lee Seung-Hu stayed
and wrote "Jewang Unggi," and many of the poet's guests who visited the site were inscribed on the stone of Mureung.
Hoamso, a legendary cow whose tiger died while skipping,
is located at the entrance of the valley,
and Geumranjeong Pavilion was built to honor the wishes of the Confucian scholars of the Korean language.
Yongchu Falls and Ssangbangwoom are spectacular.
It was designated as a national tourist destination in 1977
and was designated as Myeongseong No. 37 on February 5, 2008.
