I've just gone through the process of upgrading all components for my RTK system and now when I go into the MG app to setup base station the app on controller comes up in chinese characters.-I dont read chinese so its a roadblock that I need help with.
Can anyone please tell me how to change it to english so I can get the system working for job tomorrow.

I wish I could help.  Pretty much the same situation...I just updated the firmware of the controller (GL300N) for the Phantom 4 RTK.  This update rendered the controller unusable.  All charceters in Chinese, and it beeps loudly over and over.  I can't go back, and don't know how to read Chinese.  Please let me know if you receive help.

After looking into this issue, it seems that the latest firmware update is switching everybody's default language to Chinese, and the beeping your're hearing is the controller asking for a calibration. The fix, right now, until DJI patches this, will be to navigate through the android system to find the language settings, luckily someone else has already stumbled through the process to change the language back, so we don't have to.   You'll go into your settings in the controller (follow the gear icon and then again click the next gear icon), and find the "world" drop down (looks like a globe), the top choice is going to be your language selection, just scroll until you see English

Hey mate,  download google translate on your phone and use the camera to translate all the characters to english.   This will let you navigate to the language change menu.

see the solution in my thread. you have to go to the android app settings  and find the gear icon then find the globe icon and pick english. Pain frankly, Its not hard to test this before they send out upgrades.

We updated via Assistant 2 and did not run into this issue.
