First of all i am pretty sick of this home charger that DJI sends with the Mavic 2 pro. I mean its 2019 and you have to wait atleast 1.5 hours for each battery to charge and i have three of them.

Now i consider to use my Vistapower 4x80W as i usually fly FPV freestyle quads. I will purchase custom Mavic 2 charge cables!
I know this topic may not be popular when its a DJI forum but I am sick of this waiting and i dont trust the stock charger so i dont charge the battery over night.


What max amp does the mavic 2 consume at maximum when flying?

I know it a 3850 mAh battery which at 1C charging should be around 3.8 - 4 Amps and it should be handle 2C which is 7.6 - 8 Amps right?
Also i have seen some old Mavic 1 owners charging the battery as a LIHV and not LIPO. Is it a Highvoltage battery or a regular LIPO?

Voltage                       = 15.4V

Max charging voltage  = 17.6V

Now my packs for my regular FPV drone is
Lipo  (4X 4.20V)             =16.8V
LIHV (4X 4.35V)             =17.4V

So should the mavic 2 packs be treated as a Lipo or Lihv when charging them?
