Yes, I do that every time.  I think you guys should have these items available at release of your products!  At least batteries and necessary items!

I purchased within the first 2 hours, and it shipped yesterday.

Fortunately, I have no need for audio on an Action Cam, but I would like a housing to take it diving...should I ever get to do that again.

I'm really enjoying my Osmo Pocket, now that I have the gear I needed. I don't have any plans to take it underwater, but I do plan to take the Osmo Action underwater. 11m will do right now.

I like that it had HDR recording. Only wish DJI has added GPS. I really like being able to overlay the GPS data on the videos from my GoPro Hero 7. That's the only thing currently stopping me from ordering one.

Definitely similar to the GoPro. Not complaining though means more competition in this field of tech which again means better products to come hopefully! Great when the consumer wins like this

Honestly, the Osmo Action is very similar to GoPro 7. Having owned several GoPros, I don't have a compelling reason to move to the Osmo Action. The second screen is not really a big thing for me anyway. Guess I will just wait and see what other innovative features that DJI can bring on to this action cam arena.

Looking forward to trying one of these out. I'm aiming to mainly use an action cam for photography / timelapses. Can this shoot and be powered externally?

From the videos I have seen on Youtube, the stabilization on this absolutely smashes the GoPro. The image quality looks better too, but that could have just been the reviewers I was watching.

33 meters under water?  Does DJI or anyone have a scuba case for deeper diving?

Hi myCLLab, that is correct, Osmo Action can connect to a third-party microphone through the USB-C port by the 3.5mm adapter. The adapter still hasn't been released, please note our website of the future update.

Can it record while charging? If yes, how long can it record for? I already have tried this with osmo pocket and consequently I was able to record 4k30p video until the 256GB of SD is filled. I hope osmo action can do this, as well.

Hi tuss, yes, it is possible, the record time depends on the storage of your SD card.

I think the point he was making is that they were not available in stock at the launch as always, I haven't bought because I would prefer to have additional batteries available to me if I travel and you dont have them, yet my GoPro hero 5 Black fit perfectly into my Hero 7 Black so I'm covered.

I get not having some of the other accessories available but batteries and chargers are not accessories they are essentials

I think you are right the stabilisation looks a little bit better on the OSMO but I guess it depends on what you are doing at the time if its just simple things then I think they are both even but if you are pushing the limits of movement then the Osmo looks a touch better

Hi Guys, I want to use it as dash cam in my 4X4 , so if I mount it upside down because I be using the top corner of windscreen to mount on .  Will the vision automatically flip/turn 180 degrees on it own   regards Alex

Hi there, RockSteady is available when the resolution is 4K (16:9), 2.7K, 2.7K(4:3), 1080P (except 240, 200, 120,100FPS).
