Well I got to load the MA up in my backpack for a hike in SouthEastern Missouri a couple weekends back.  The overall experaince was not too bad though I think I will need to determine if my aim is Photo or video.  Lugging a DLSR, tripod, and the drone pushed the backpack into the ludicrous wieght catagory.  Going to have to sacrifice the DSLR on trips when the drone goes.  Still and all I was able to get it in there with 2 batteries for about 30 minutes of flight.  My destinations were two of my favorite springtime locations.  Rocky Falls and Klepzig Mill.  Both are locations where water is 'shut-in' by volcanic rock much harder than the normal stream beds.  So they are refered to as "shut-ins".
Rocky falls is not the tallest waterfall in Missouri, I believe that honor goes to Mina Sauk Falls but in my experiance it is the most impressive flow wise, especially in wet season.  It also boasts a great swimming hole in the deep pool at the base of the falls.  Klepzig mill is a old Grist Mill setup along the creek.  The shut-ins offered a naturual dam to build off of.  The mill is just a shell now but its always a striking sight tucked into the leaves.  Fall is especially neat there.  The dam is now removed and the water cascades over the rocks as before.

I always enjoy the peace of these two locations and hope my videos convey that peaceful feeling.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Absolutely more to come.  Heading to Glacier NP this June.  I know I can't fly in the park but there is plenty to camp, hike, and see around the park as well!

say photomankc, the winds where you fly, it's motionless.
Year round motionless?
This is missouri, lots of flat grounds?
Waterfalls means elevation terrain contour.
does that mean the running water came from far away mountains having ice and snow melting?
