It seems this thread is quite old, many months since first problems with novideo feed oproblem reported. And yet - I can't find any working solution from DJI. What a shame.
I am the new guy in No Vision club, same as you all posted. I re-installed app, did updates, checked cables, all things described in this thread. nothing works. black screen. Video and photos are recorded on SD card, i can even see live histogram changes as camera moves around - but no actual image.
It is my 3rd phantom, and I experienced terrible lack of support from DJI some 2 years ago when i bought P2 with a badly assembled remote. UIt seems DJI did not improve their service a bit. So, I still hope that someone will find out about this problem and share.
As for the POOR SIGNAL and interfererence message - I had it too after firmware updates. What helped it in my case was un-installing the app, and then downloading/installing it on my smart phone again. I find it surprising how fragile and how prone to errors this system is. On my P2 i added FPV home system using parts from ebay - and it works without any issues, while this high-end system has so many issues.
DJI created wonderful technology, but is plagued by bad quality control and non-existent support, so we all pay big bucks to be their beta testers. Seems that once they get our money, we served our purpose. A very short sighted strategy, and one day their good fortune baloon may burst. Phantom 3 Professional? there is nothing professional about unit not working straight from the box. |
