Sharing some videos clips of a beautiful and relaxing weekend away with my gf.
Over the 1st mountain from us is the Little Karroo. A 3 hr drive through beautiful country side and mountain passes - it is like a semi desert area - sparcely vegetated, exquisite scenery, big open spaces and great condition dirt roads to explore.
Over the next mountain from there is the great karroo - even more sparecely vegetated, bigger open spaces, longer dirt roads and although more desolate, the views are equally beautiful.
Below are 3 clips from my weekend showing of the cute little town we stayed in and some beautiful local scenery.
The first 2 clips contains footage of close call wipe outs by over head electric lines - but survived both (thanks my lucky stars :-)
hi woe..thank you.. reviewing the footage on my sd card last nite i noticed i almost wiped out 3 times over the weekend - crazy ..but lucky and happy to have survived :-)

The last video is great! Still, I am noting a bit of choppyness, can you share a bit more around the details of the footage, like fps, quality, and if any other editing software is used (apart from DJI app).

hi elberti - yes i noticed the choppiness too - it does not appear on my sd card or on my phone - also the complete clip on my phone plays smootly... only after loaded to you tube did it become choppy.
To be honest i do not know why that is the case.
I was shooting in 2.7k at 30fps with a mavic pro. My editing was done on the dji app.

i think the reason for the chopiness could be related to a combination of facts: 1, i always fly in sport mode and 2 when editing i often speed up longer clip sections to get as much scenery in as possible.
During flight in sport mode (when not flying super smooth) then every turn gets a slight jerk - when this is then sped up the jerks get closer together causing the appearance of choppiness -
Really good editing takes me too long and consequently i do not make as many memory clips as i might like - therefore i edit on dji app only - my personal attitude to editing is rather and inferior clip than none at all.
Well... you have great videos and if I were you, I would go for better quality than speed on flying. Note this might also be related to the app or to the speeding of the videos -- this is why I am not using DJI 4 for editing and procure not to speed up any.
please help - i cannot enter the mavic pro forum - i cannot make new posts or replies on other posts - please advise if i have been blocked or barred from the forum?
