Good day, I've just purchased a new Ronin S but I had two issues:
  • the first is an annoying minor one..the USB-C cable provided was faulty. It was ok for charging but was causing contacts when plugged into the PC to update the firmware. My PC was continuously seeing the Ronin S connected/disconnected at a fast frequency. I changed the cable and it was perfect.
  • the second is a concern, I've found a strange thing on the grip's bottom. In particular on the 3/8 inch 16 UNC screw hole (the bigger one). Could you please confirm if it's faulty and I should request assistance or not?
Thank you!

The thing in the hole is normal. It is a tab that the tool that inserts the helicoil grabs when screwing it in.
When we mount helicoils at work we remove the tabs, but it is not neccasery.
