Gimbal Out of Whack - DJI Repair or an eBay rebuild?

I hit a tree with my Phantom 3 SE causing it to fall about 50 feet and land upside down. I replaced the props and a broken gimbal mount. I now have the dreaded "jelly" video. I confirmed that it is doing it when it is NOT in flight (as well as in-flight) so I believe it's the gimbal itself. If I do a manual reset of the gimbal it is okay until take-off at which point the jelly returns:

Video 1: Before manual calibration. At the very end, when I land, you can see that I have the jelly video even on the ground.

Video 2: Begins after manual calibration - no jelly. As soon as I take off the jelly returns and does not go away even after landing

What's the best route? Repair by DJI or replace with an eBay gimbal? If I have DJI repair it, I assume I can just send in the gimbal?

Thanks!
