Another experiment using the DashWare software program.

  

Using 9 different programs to create this video.

  
  

Started with a Mavic Pro video and the flight data (.TXT) from the DJI GO4 app that matched the video.

  
  

Uploaded the .TXT file to AirData to get the .CSV and .KLM. files.

  
  

Used the .KLM file to get a ground map (.JPG) of the MP video flight in Google Earth.

  
  

Then using DaVinci Resolve I converted the .JPG to a MP4 video to use in DashWare.

  
  

Loaded the MP4 movie and the .CSV file into DashWare. (using the Flytrek profile)

Once I lined up the track and edited the pointer with GIMP to replace it with the Mavic Pro  model. I then created a video with   DashWare .

  

Then I loaded the DashWare video and the MP video into DaVinci Resolve to create the final video.

  
  

I then used Xmedia Recode to reduce the size of the video from 546 MB to 188 MB

  
  

Finally I uploaded the video to YouTube to show in the DJI forum

Still a work in progress.
The weather here has been so windy here that all I can do is work on other programs to occupy my time.
Hopefully next week I can get out to fly.

Interesting effect. Could you cut out some of the conversions you are doing  by using a screen shot video of the Go4 flight record flight path?

Probably would make it easier but I wanted to see what it would take to create my own .
I saw an app years ago that did what my video did. That one gave me the idea to try to recreate something similar.

I enjoy figuring out how professionals create those kinds of apps.

Not sure where I got it. If it was yours I will differently give you the credit. I just grabbed it off of the files I had stored on the computer that was the right length for the video.

Not sure I can do that. I know I can size it to make it smaller or larger.
I will look at  the code to see if I can make it correspond to some flight data value. Maybe that might change it size as it fly's.
