I have lost quite a few files/recordings because my mavic pro records over previous files whenever I change the battery.  I've tried a forum search as well as google without any helpful results; so I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue.  Can anyone help with a way to work around this issue?  TIA

What settings are used in File index mode?

Have you checked the available space left in your SD Card - recording in 4k can eat up space very quickly.

Hi H5 Adventures, sorry for the trouble that it caused and I'm glad that everything is sorted out. As mentioned on post #2, you can use the File Index Mode option.

For the File Index options:
1.Reset
2.Continuous

After you have empty (or delete) all the photos/videos (file 001,002,003) in the SD card, under the "Reset" mode, the new created files will be named from 001.

If you chose the "Continuous" mode, the new created files will be named from 004 (after the deleted file 003).
