Since dji have to make tutorials to explain to the users how to use the new forum layout, i say, why dont they ask us what they prefer?

You may wish to add it's annoying to navigate but getting the hang of it as improvements continue to be made. I've said it's 'awesome' as leaning more to that than hating it

Further, I don't want to read about other models.  It seems that most of the postings of late are about new models.  It is a lot to go through to read a very few new postings about my topic.

Well, actually I miss the "announcements" rubrique and the sub titles (mavic, smart controller, etc). There's only one "Mavic" rubrique with everything undernead it.
When you wanted to know if there was an announcement of new firmware or anything new in the "mavic" rubrique, you had to look under "announcements"'. I'm sure it is somewhere there under "Mavic", but not as clear as before.
The look is good, but subtitles would be making it more clear.

Dji started this deplovement well with the drop down menu at top,
but just forgot to design what it should do. As it is now this drop down menu is nothing but 6 buttons.
It make no sens to use menu like this when it does not work.
Under product we have 10 things to select but all do the same thing
which is to open this same drop down menu but now in horizontal line down on the same page.
This must have been mistake or the drop down menu is there just to show off.
I voted 2 because I hate and don't understand how its possible to do mistakes like this.
For those of us which have been here around for years we will manege to find what we need
but for new people it's not so easy. They come here and don't find anything and then go to other forums which are better build and easy to navigate and ask for help there.

if you *really* need a tutorial on how to navigate a relatively simple forum, then I'd question whether or not you should be let loose flying an unmanned aerial vehicle! It's a different view and hardly rocket science is it?

Compared to the way it used to be, YES!

I don't 'hate' it as such, I just don't like it as much as the previous layout. But to satisfy the poll I will go with the second choice :-)

I would prefer that they had improved on the old structure, understandable that they might be keen to draw less attention to older models which are less likely to attract posts and be further down the list.
Even if that's not the case then what they have produced is certainly no improvement from the users perspective, and surely that's the most important bit.

We could always vote with our feet and go elsewhere, but I'd miss all the fun, banter, laughs, abuse that the forum carries :-) (more tea Vicar ?).

If anything needed improving it was the search facility which was/is fairly pitiful.

I wonder if they've been pushed to change things so they don't have to rely on some externally sourced algorithm or routine, or compiler.

I’m getting there with the new format, but feel I’m missing out on posts. Way too many stickies at the top of each section.

It has taken me a while to get used to it.  I feel the old one was more intuitive to navigate.
But this one is OK

Hate it, but am getting used to it. Wish we could go back to the old system, however I get the feeling that we're stuck with this one now.

Think you maybe using a link to the old style forums. I was getting that when I was using some bookmarks on my tablet that I hadn’t used in a while.

Just wondering if these polls really make a difference?  Had a poll a while back on Imperial or metric measures, it was determined that metric was the choice however imperial was DJI choice,  just wondering...

I like the previous format much better.  It's like they took a step backwards in ease of use.  The previous format was straight to the point with sub-threads.  It feels like a good amount is missing.
