Hello all,

After taking the Inspire 1 pro out of hybernation, I am getting "No Image Transmission Signal"
Looking around in the forum, I found the thread about the 'hidden log file' created by the the X5 firmware update. ( see below) and I see
[00020602][08 00][00] device not detected. as well as
[00034469][15 00][00] device not detected.

I was able to borrow an X3, and no problem with that, so it is not the bird, it has to be the X5

Does anyone have a solution or an idea of the cost of the repair, as well as the turnaround time ?

It is recommended to start a case and send the unit in for diagnosis: https://www.dji.com/support The general turnaround is about 5-7 working days excluding the shipping time. As for the repair cost, it can be confirmed after the designated team received the package and did the damage assessment, you may refer to the price list here: https://repair.dji.com/repair/price-inquiry

So - I sent the X5 for repair and just received the verdict:

Zenmuse X5 Camera Main Board   Quantity: 1    Net Price : 208.00  Total Price: 208.00
Repair Service Fee                            Quantity: 2    Net Price : 65.00    Total Price: 130.00

For a grand total of $338

Of course the gimbal was activated in October 2015 -- but if I am still surprised that the "Camera main board" need to be replaced, as the number of hours on that bird is quite low.
Looking at these forums, it seems to me that there is a weakness in the X5, as many reported the same issue ...

Anyway, it could have been a lot worse, and  I can't wait to have the X5 back ( mine repaired or a replacement .. we will see )

I am very pleased with the whole repair process at this time.

In fact it is an exchange, as the serial number is not the same.
