Did you check to see if there are any VFR's on the sectional for your area?  I see air traffic (military in certain areas) that is in Class G airspace, but no documented air traffic routes.  We sUAS pilots have to be more responsible that manned aircraft pilots.  Sucks sometimes.

Years ago, our church sponsored a community picnic with hot dogs, games for the kids, and all sorts of picnic type fun. There was a little girl who very rarely spoke and was a little, um, "off." The other children were now doing a play, but she wanted to throw beanbags in buckets, so I kept the game open for her and let her do that.

Suddenly, she said softly, "Airplane," and continued playing the beanbags in the buckets game.

"Wow," thought I. "Most people never hear her speak."

ROARRR!!!!!

A huge military turboprop transport flew over just above the treetops!

When she does speak, you better pay attention!

A few days ago i had a C 130 flying a few rounds over my town, also in a worrying low altitude.

And this pimped F 16 also did the same so people could see the paint job,,,,,, the Danish national flag just had its 800 year birthday....... try beating that :-)

Summer is a time for Airshows in the northern hemisphere - expect the unexpected is my rule of thumb. We have a heliport approx 2 miles away and these pop up with no notice - so always ready to lower my drone if needs be.
