I wanted to shoot from the front but I was low on battery as I only have 1 battery right now and I got scared I might not be able to come back as I've just done an orthomosaic job in NY.

I wish it could have been better but the drone was yaw drifting due to wind I think.  It stops after a while but I didn't have enough batt to wait.

Yeah but as a pilot I thought the sky looks better in the shot than out of it.  : )

Heli shot from 1972 lol It’s the same as yours except I’ve lightened the low lights to create more detail and cropped the image as crooked horizons look terrible.

Taking off from tall grass prob ruined the gimbal on that shot but I know what you mean now.

How is it now?

The biggest issue is I forgot to take it in ARW/RAW/DNG.  I came out of a job that DroneDeploy made it JPG in auto but still today I forgot to switch it back!

I couldn't really see that much on the screen.  After looking at the picture those were people by the big circle on the bottom right.  It looked like everyone was inside that whole thing and the "people" area was some kind of shield.  Initially, I took off like it was the Mavic 2 Zoom where you couldn't see anything even w/ the ISO cranked to the max in video mode.  I switched to auto and could see but getting some in a way massive drifting which wasn't comforting along with low batt I couldn't frame correctly.  Took 3 manual shots and left.  When I'm doing things for the first time it takes me a bit to process everything.  I went through 1 full battery and a half trying to truly figure out what the instructions were for an AT&T far orbit but after I everything became efficient.

I get nervous too but then eventually the confidence kicks in and it's like I'm inside the screen.  Once I'm in hover mode I just punch it even in Sport mode.  I got used to it on the Spark.  The first time flying the Spark at 30m was scary.

Yeah, I remember my first time in the air too.
But still, there is so much you have to watch out for.
And so much that can go wrong.

Yeah, try flying back in 2013 with KKBoards and quads you had to make yourself.  When I was flying them in the park people didn't know what it was lol.  The cheapest one was the one you had to make yourself which was kind of a lot of money.

That was in my backyard.
(and my little son had gotten it for his birthday)
But my 'real' drone was a Mavic Pro.
I flew close to one of the places I work often (Twello)
