I am trying to find spare batteries for the camera. Does anyone know when they will become available to purchase here in the US?? I have seen adds for them coming from china at 2-3 times the price..

Battery and charging kits are up for pre-order at some vendors but no shipping dates yet. But I don't think it will be much behind shipping from China as I ask a Chinese speaking friend to contact a couple of the China vendor and they don't actually have stock to ship yet. Anyone saying they are shipping is lying. I ordered the charging kit from Adorama, free shipping and no tax.
