I didn’t know that whales consumed over 1 ton of krill per day. Looks like you’d have to have a wide radius on filming a waypoint on that sea mammal.

Maybe we should start a new thread everyday so the don't forget that they have a defective drone out that they haven't fixed.

Here is my start.

As you can see others who have continually being banned for life and are without the capability or savvy to carry out a proper discussion on any matter, which is why they are continually being banned, this is one guy running 3 accounts on this thread with nothing but one thing in mind, to cause havoc and hysteria.
And although I take a pragmatic view on these matters I also want things improved, but there is more than one way to skin a cat, I have been emailing both dji support engineers and any other open emails I can find, I have also contacted Litchi as you will see above.
You may think or believe that I am trying to hi jack this thread but nothing could be further from what I’m about, I asked continually for footage that could have been forwarded on to engineers, but got a blank each time, this footage would and always does help further cases of problems .
Now although dji have not admitted anything is wrong, although I suspect it is, they eventually have come back with an email to say they will address this thread soon regarding this matter.

Sometimes a different approach can get the answers your looking for.

Here a simple test I did comparing waypoints between the Inspire 1 and The Mavic 2 Pro using Litchi and the same waypoint file. (excuse the foggy lens!)
Please fix this DJI!

That test is the EXACT problem. It is a defect in the Mavic 2 series firmware that may not be able to be fixed.
As much as some shills want to deny this issue, it is still there, and it is replicable.

Well seen as your name is shill and you’ve already been banned on this forum and thread, maybe you will replicate it so we all can see, I very much doubt it .

In fact you don’t even own a dji drone .
Really?  I don’t even own a DJI drone? That picture I posted of my drone with a nice little note to you was all Photoshop?  You really are a clown, posting false, unsubstantiated statements after you deny problems that are shown to be real. Then you make bizarre claims with no evidence- which were already proven to be false. Not surprising.  I think everybody here can easily attest to the fact that you are King Shill for DJI.

I guess it never occurred to you that reposting the photo presented from your now-banished account would confirm the two are one & the same?

"Yours is a superior intellect..."

Cool story bro. But being a convicted murderer takes the cake for personality disorder. You have no credibility there.

How hard can it be to resolve the problem?  The camera panned perfectly on my Phantom 3, Phantom 4 and Mavic Pro.  If they don't fix it then it will lead me to believe they just don't care or there is something in the camera itself that is causing the problem and it can't be fixed.  If that is the case then they will never admit fault because to do so would be an admission that the camera is not all that it is cracked up to be.

It would be nice to accept this at face value.  Will there be a "next" firmware update?  How long has it been since the last one?

Hoping!

Thank you for sharing the news with us.

Given that last firmware was released 3-4 months ago, we should expect it anytime soon right?

Edit: I also hope DJI will add a way to create missions offline without having the Drone ON. That's a total waste of battery.

I am also disappointed in the performance of Waypoints 2.0 with the Mavic 2 (M2Z here).  I did some tests comparing a Waypoints 2.0 route vs. a regular Point of Interest 2.0 (circle).

Waypoints 2.0 video was always jerky in my tests, both at the waypoint transition and traveling between waypoints.  Tested both Polyline and Arc, various speeds (down to 2mph, up to 15mph), different angles, number of waypoints, etc.  Youtube has other examples of the jerky motion.  My guess is the gimbal is not being used (or used enough) to help smooth things out left/right and tracking is just being accomplished (and under/over compensated) by the yaw of the M2.

Point of Interest 2.0 worked pretty well.  After the M2 figured out the radius, the video of the circle around the POI was smooth.

Ideally, Waypoints 2.0 should be as smooth as POI 2.0.  Unfortunately, POI isn't a substitute for Waypoints.

Hoping a fix comes soon (or eventually).

After 4 yrs with my Phantom 4, my new Mavik 2 Pro impresses me with a lot of the improvements, including much of what Waypoints 2.0 mode offers. BUT, as others have noted, the jerky flight transitions at each programmed waypoint make this mode cinematically unusable. Even the Arc mode doesn't smooth it out. Am I missing something? Seems a long time for DJI to let this issue go unresolved.
