So I was flying yesterday and got a downward sensor error which made landing a bit tricky.   I figured i'd calibrate my MP vision sensors today.   I opened up DJI Assistant 2 and proceeded to calibrate, but could not get it to complete.   First it gave me crap about failing because it determined my monitor size was "." and asking me to correct it....which I did.   Then it just hung at 85%....forever.   I uninstalled, reinstalled, reset to factory defaults, everything I could think of to no avail.   It just hangs at 85% during the final calibration calculations, every time.   I'm using Win10 and a 43" 4K monitor.   Searching the web, I found others with the same problem, but no clear solution.   Then I found something about using "DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic" vs "DJI Assistant 2".     Can someone from DJI enlighten me here?   Which version should I be using for my Mavic Pro (original)?

On the Mavic Pro support page, the downloads section has "DJI Assistant 2"
The Mavic Pro Platinum support page has NO download section
The Mavic 2 support page has downloads for "DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic"

Which one should I be using?  Is the support page for the original Mavic Pro wrong?

Hi LeafPeeper, my sincere apologies for  the inconvenience that it caused.  I would suggest you uninstall and re download the software. Please download DJI Assitant 2 using these links: https://www.dji.com/mavic/info#downloads  or https://www.dji.com/downloads?site=brandsite&from=footer  You can also change the cable so that we can isolate the problem.
Please take note to update the firmware to the latest version with the newest version of DJI Assistant 2 and then calibrate the Vision Sensors.

Requirements when calibrating VPS:
1. A display that’s 14 inches or bigger is recommended for the calibration.
2. Set the display’s resolution to the recommended default value. (Usually, the 14-inch display’s resolution should be set at 1366*768 or 1440*900. The 17-inch display’s resolution: 1366*768 or 1280*720. The 19-inch display’s resolution: 1366*768 or 1440*900. The 22-inch display’s resolution: 1680*1050 or 1920*1080. The 24-inch display’s resolution: 1920*1080 or 1920*1200.)
3. Restart the PC and the aircraft multiple times.

Funny.   If I go to the product support page and click Mavic, then Mavic Pro, at the very bottom of the page that is displayed is a tab for downloads.

Just inconsistent design I guess.   Bottom line thought - I should be using DJI Assistant 2, not DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic....which means failure.   I finally got it to work on my Mac.  Win 10 is a no go.
