Probably some distributor insider lingo that DJI and them know about.

It's either a typo (thread vs. threat), or it's the new improved version of the Furby...

Remember those? It freaked out the "Intelligence" community at the time it was released.

RoboMaster S1 is out of stock now.  It was only available in the US and China and it looks like a lot of people purchased it.  I actually received mine from China in 3 days.

I purchased the S1 on the 12th and it still says "Payment Success", I was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me?

Same here. It now says shipped and got a FedEx tracking number. However on the FedEx page it says clearance delay. No idea what that meant

I ordered on June 12th and mine has not shipped yet either.  Really looking forward to this product!

For those still waiting for their orders, mine was shipped from China.   I guess DJI ran out of their stocks in USA and they are shipping them directly from their reserves in China. Maybe that's why it takes weeks to sort through orders and shipping them out.

As of July 1st, is there a timeframe for the shipment of RoboMaster S1 Kits out to Autohorized US Retailers?

Sorry to report that as of July 5 a unit ordered on June 12 has not shipped and there is no estimated shipping date.

And now I'm pleased to report that I have received notice that my units have shipped (coming by air from China) and should be delivered in California on 7/12.  

I have a Clearance Delay - Import on my shipment. It's stuck in Tennessee.

Check again - mine says "International shipment release - Import" in Memphis TN, so looks like our pallet made it through customs....

I had pre-ordered mine from a USofA Authorized Retailer on June 12th. It arrived yesterday, July 10th. The shipping was extremely fast. It only tppk 3 days from NJ, USofA to QC, Canada.
I am so pleased with the quality of the RoboMaster S1. And it was pretty easy and so much fun to assemble.
