Yeah, AEB is really cool.  That shot at 0.0 EV is Really blowing out the sky!

It is hard to balance the exposure between foreground and the sky when facing the sun

I need to start using the Aperature and manual mode more often though.  Auto is ok up to a point but of course, if I have Zero idea what I'm doing auto is better.

I always use manual controls - you did well tilting the gimbal down. If you are using auto then use the metering feature too

Yeah, I'm trying to get the framing right but the sharpness isn't so good.  The depth of field even at that range is pretty crazy.  I had other photos and tried to focus stack but it doesn't work.  It's sharp wherever you press on the screen but the areas outside are blurry.

f4 mate and set your sharpness to +1 - if still experiencing focus issues then switch to manual focusing and use the peak focus threshold to assist - these stills look very well focused though

It was at f/5 or f/5.6.  I'm going to experiment with f/8-f/11 today.  I had focus peak too but that doesn't really do much.  I was shooting at +3 Sharpness.  The tree detail out in the distance in a test I've run shows +3 being the best.

I haven't run an f/stop test and a complete H.264/265 test yet.  I did a job before and they wanted 1/500 in the instructions as the minimum, AWB off so I should just stick to that while I'm in the air.

Focus peak works well in manual - set it to normal. Try f4 with regards to the aperture - a more closed aperture (higher number) will exacerbate the issue you already have.

Yeah, I will try all the way down to f/2.8 to f/11.  I will try every single stop focusing on a single point in tripod mode.  The problem would also be experimenting w/ the combinations of shutter speed and ISO.

How come a higher f/stop would exacerbate the blurry issue?

Keep the SS double the frame rate and the ISO to 100. Use the aperture with nd filters as you will find massive variance in exposure between f2.8 and f11. As an alternative to nd filters just increase the shutter speed to get the right exposure whilst experimenting with the aperture as shutter speeds are not that essential in terms of the 180 rule for photos.

Yeah, but increasing the aperture actually makes less light come in so it's like having an ND filter if you can go high enough.  The idea would be to have at least 1/500 at 0.0EV.  No need for an ND as I can just keep increasing the shutter speed which is more beneficial. : ) I'm not sure how I can run these tests w/o AEB.  I was looking through my other photos and w/o AEB, Half the image would be either underexposed or overexposed.

When I was shooting the Freehold mall, there was nothing but cloud cover.  I was ready to leave as I just wanted to frame.  Well right before I was going to land the sun started to come out!  Then I went back up in the air.  It kept coming out more and more then Zero cloud so I took shots.

Yes, that's what I'm saying - if you are stopping the drone at a hover then taking several photos with each f stop of the aperture you'll have massive exposure issues but if you are only taking photos of motionless subjects then use the shutter speed to control the exposure whilst running through each f stop

Yeah, but I will just keep jacking up the shutter speed until it's 0.0 EV.
