Australia is definitively a beautiful country... I remember the Midnight Oil clips of my youth...
I adjusted the contrast, increased the exposure and lower the black but unfortunately, I can't reach the color and contrast quality of your final footage using Premiere Pro. Results are worst using DJI LUT.
Fre Mo, thanks and no probs, although I don't know if my workflow will be helpful as I use FCPX. When you put an HLG file in a FCPX timeline, even a well exposed one, it will seem over exposed, at least in a Rec709 colorspace. First thing to do is pull down highlights, a blue sky is a great asset for grading, as if it is overexposed it will show a cyan banding. When you bring down highlights, the cyan comes down and is replaced by sky blue. I might also bring blacks down a little and tweak things back and forth from there, I rarely ever have to increase saturation as the 10 bit color in HLG in amazing as is. Hope that helps. |
