I'm wondering when the Fixed-Wing mode with be available for the MAVIC 2 aircraft?

There has been no mention of it by DJI so I doubt we'll see it on the M2

I wonder why you want that mode.

If you have a Mavic Pro try it and let us know what it is and how it works since DJI User manual has NOTHING. I checked out https://store.dji.com/guides/dji-go-4-manual/9/ and found I have: Tripod mode. What is list at the online manual is:
Intelligent Flight Modes:  (NOTE: NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET TO THESE OPTIONS!!!!)

And of course I have no Intelligent Flight Modes icon on my display with DJI GO 4....  I just turned the Enable Intelligent Flight Modes OFF (the slider is to the left, not green) and the Intelligent Flight Modes now appear below Take off and home icon!

When I'm in the air again, I will give it a try.
From what I remember it just disables the horizon stabilization.
(just like you are in a plane)

I am still waiting for it too

Mavic 2 does not have fixed wing mode, only the Mavic Pro. Even though my Mavic 2 reached a top speed of 45.3 mph, my fastest speed of all my drones was 46.2 mph by the Mavic Pro in Fixed Wing Mode....

I really like fixed wing mode.  I really miss it on the Mavic 2.   I hope DJI will added it.

Fixed wing mode I got my Mavic Pro in Sport Mode up to a speed of 46.6 mph, which the Mavic Pro at top speed of 40mph is not too shaby.

I enjoy wing mode flying with my Epson BT 300 glasses. I have a MP.
