Some jobs made me realize how 3 isn't even enough.

Once we know how many batteries you have, we can get on to the important questions like:
What colour are your eyes?
What is your shoe size?
What day is it?

But if the poll was widened to include general RC ... my answer would be about 50.

Only at full Club Open meetings will I usually use all 3 of my P3 batts ..

I find three to be enough - if you have a commercial job that will take all day then you'll obviously need more unless you have a charger you are able to use nearby.

Yep ... my car charger $5 on eBay charges a P3 battery in about same time as mains charger at home.

One is enough to get it off the ground.

Exactly - all you need is three batteries and a reliable charging solution nearby and to plan in the battery cooling, recharge and flight times in advance and have back up charging for the RC and devices. With the right planning and weather conditons you can do 12 or 15 flights in one day on three batteries. Though I don't fly commercially so two or three flights and I'm done for the week these days

Hehehe,  I have 3 sets,  2 x original & 1 x Quiet (????)

As long as I stay away from the Gum trees,  they seem to hang in OK

Right now I have 'just' three.
But I'm thinking about upgrading to 4.

I have 4, the 4th hardly used, i cant stay out too long as i need to get back for my Beardies, so what with all the talking, we dont usually have time to use all 4, now i have 3.5 batteries seen as #3 was a bit iffy but i did fly it again yesterday at low altitude with a battery connection heat check halfway through and no issues there, so it may have to go on eBay on

One of those things that never drop in value as you'll always need them and are typically one of the first things needing to be replaced. Even P3 batteries are still selling for over £100 today.

i use 2 , one is original (130 cicles , useful life 50%)
Second one is not original ( 27 cicles , Useful Life 75% ) with a little cell deviation , that is not corrected after several deep  discharges

Original is still a beast

As you found out .... deep cycling does not correct a battery. You may have a temporary apparent fix ... but it soon recurs.
