I always carry 4 batteries for the phantom 3 pro ! get a good 20 miinutes out of each usually thats enough to get the footage i need

Same here. Four flight packs is plenty,  for an awesome afternoon of great flying.

I use 2 Only  , good enough for me

I have 3 ... rarely use all 3 ... but I also carry a car charger if I need more.
For those with LiPo programmable chargers ... and who have general LiPo packs ... I have adaptor for P3 batterys to fit the LiPo charger ... so I can either power from the car ... or use one of my medium -large LiPo's to power the LiPo charger when I know its not going to be used in one of my models ..

a couple of hours is usually enough buddy
i usually fly in remote places miles from anywhere so i dont want to lug around tons of extra kit and extra ipads and stuff so 4 batteries does me ! then if im staying in an atrea where i will need 2 days i will simply stop in a local bed and breakfast and charge up over night

I know one fellow who carries an extra car battery along , for his long excursions.

I bought a 3rd party 3x charger, its the same or similar standard DJI 3x charger, i thought it was the official but it does not have the switching to storage mode, says DJI on it so perhaps ts for the lower ampage P4 and not the P4P higher capacity ones, reason i say that is because i am fairly sure the charge time is quicker if i dont use it, anyone else noticed that or.......?
