I'm looking for the simplest way(s) to create and perform a pre-defined mission flight on a Matrice 100.

I have the DJI Pilot app v1.4.0 and connected to the Matrice, planned a mission, however I could not get the Matrice to perform the flight due to a  'controller mode error'. Is there a way to perform a mission through the DJI Pilot app with the Matrice 100, or is there a good alternative?
