Hello ALL, Please help, I just got a new drone to replace my old one.  Says I need to calibrate the vision sensors and need to use DJI Assistant 2, which I downloaded on my Windows 10 PC, DJI 2 for Mavic, version 2.0.8.  When I plug the drone into the computer I can transfer pictures no problem so I know the computer is seeing the drone.  However the DJI 2 program doesn't see the drone so I have no way to calibrate the sensors?  Any advice?  Thank You.

I had a huge headache trying to calibrate the sensors too so no worries.

Try following this to see if it works.

Not mine video but I think helpful.

Hi, we're sorry for the inconvenience. You may follow the instruction and images below for you to possibly rectify the situation.

*Power on the aircraft and connect it to PC via USB cable;
*Select the Start button on PC, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results;
*Expand one of the categories to find the name of Unknown device, then right-click it, and select Update Driver
*Select Browse my computer for driver software and click Browse and go to where the drivers located (Sample: C:\Program Files\DJI Product\DJI Assistant 2\Drivers);
*Click Next and then the drivers will be installed.
After installing the drivers, re-plug the USB cable and launch DJI Assistant 2, then the Unknown Device should be gone from the Device Manager and DJI Assistant 2 should recognize the aircraft.

Hello DJI Tony,

Thank You for this.  When I open device manager it doesn't have "unknown device", however the drone does show up under "portable devices" and E drive.  I right clicked on it and followed your instructions to upload the latest driver and it came back and said "the best drivers for your device are already installed".  So not sure what to do now?  I did go to the DJI website to see if there's a latest software for Assistant 2 but their website has V 1.2.5, I have 2.0.8.  This is the 2nd drone I've bought and have had to do.  With the first drone assistant 2 wouldn't even load on my windows 10 pc, now with the latest version it does but doesn't see the drone.  On my previous drone, I had to install on a friends computer with windows xp or 7 and it worked fine but I don't have access to this computer.  Any further thoughts.  Such a pain that with two drones right out of the box I need to do this.  As I have 3 other friends with drones that have never encountered this issue.  Any further help would be much appreciated!!
