Does Osmo pocket has built in phase detection sensor?

This is such a surprise!

Cool, downloaded and installed with zero issues, now it's time to go play.

I'm having problem installing the update earlier.
The only fix that works for me is to "Clear Data",
the DJI Mimo app then re-run the app.

No prompt for update for me yet !!!

Updated with no problem beyond having to refresh Mimo during the update to allow file transfers to the Osmo Pocket.
Focus definitely seems faster. Connection to live view on my phone has much less lag than before and faster response from Mimo output to the pocket, but battery drain seems to have increased from the Osmo Pocket to phone. That may not be correct though because it's the end of the day and I didn't check battery levels of either my Osmo Pocket which I think was around 46% before I updated the firmware or my phone which towards the end of the day may have been as low as 54%. Recharging both now.
Considering my phone is not on the approved list I'm quite pleased.

Hmmm, I've got 25, 30, 50, or 60 on both 1080p or 4K, but no 24 on either.  I see the same on the device itself or in the Mimo app.

Added  a setting screen (last screen) for the waterproof housing.
When you go to it, it says "Power off the Osmo before placing in waterproof case".

Thanks for that!  I normally do 30fps, but was surprised when I didn't see 24p.  Seems odd for it to only show in Pro Mode, but at least its there...

are there some more informations about the new AF (pros/cons)?
Does the OP now just use the phase AF or it´s a addon  to the "older" AF (->hybrid AF) ?

No. Everything works fast and good. Just after update I set factory setting and did't see that AFS mode was ON. I checked now on AFC everything works fine.

Where do you clear data? I am not able to get update.  I have  reformatted 128 sundisk sd cards; neither works for updating; no circular expanse from 0 per cent.  I have gone on a different wifi but still get the failure to update firmware note after many, many attempts.

Not sure, but they don't look the same at all.  The DJI branded one is straight from the DJI website (https://store.dji.com/product/osmo-pocket?vid=48141).

Well I reset but to no avail.  Called Tech Support.  Apparently my cell phone is incompatible for OP.  Had to use someone else's phone.  Then it updated, no problem.

My microphone will no longer boot up since the update. Just stays on the device attached symbol top right and never kicks over to mic. Any suggestions?

osmo pocket cannot connect to androip mimo apps after latest firmware update. Please help.

I have a Motorola G 2nd generation phone running Android running Android 6.0; this does NOT have USB C, only micro USB.

By using the female USB C to male USB micro adapter provided with my MAVIC 2 to connect OP to the phone, I was able to activate my Osmo Pocket fairly easily. However I am unable to update the OP firmware using this technique - Mimo and the OP no longer seem to notice one another when directly plugged together this way.

The OP is working fine on its own, and also together with Mimo via the WiFi connector; that's all very satisfactory.

So my question is straightforward - should I be able to update the firmware via this sort of connection, or is it technically impossible?
