Hi all,

had a small crash and damaged two props of original type.

My only spares are a set of "quiet props" which i will change over to.

Can i just swop them out and continue flying OR is there any settings in the app i must alter to accommodate the new props?

I do not believe there is any change in the App required.  But if you are changing styles, or types of props I would recommend you change all four, and not just the damaged ones.

Hi, we're sorry for the mishap that happens to your drone. It's recommended to change the propellers if it is scratched, bent, or damaged, replace it immediately. It is recommended to replace them at least every three months. For additional information, if you will use a different type of propellers, it recommended replacing all old propellers. You dont have to change anything, I switched from normal to silent without any adaptations, and it perfectly worked.

nothing to change. just be aware that the low noise props are less effective in fighting high wind. i'm not sure exactly why. perhaps because it's more flexible. just a fyi

thanks for that - i fly in the wind a lot of so i appreciate that heads up info.

Make sure you check for debris in the top of the motor when you remove the props.  I damaged a prop once and part of the mounting sheered off into the motor.  It came out no problem but worth checking for.

Since you crashed after changing the props I would also do an IMU calibration as well.
