I just bought my first Quad copter Vision + and have some questions.

Can i use my Win 8.1 laptop to controll and update all the hardware and software?
What all software do I need to download for either my laptop or Driod?

  I see alot of differnt downloads but they appears to be alot of dupilactions? I've watched some videos and one of them had a flight plan app that you just point to were you want your wave point.  But they don't mention what the app is or if its part of another app.

I'm looking for a great suite of app/programs to make the my training/flights the best possiable experaniance I can?

For the V+ you will need to go here
Download and install to your PC the Win drivers / V+ assistant 3.6 and the RC assistant 1.1
You can get the Vision App there and you might as well download the latest user manual.

Took my first flight yesterday with a brand new version of the Phantom 2, when it landed, it tipped over and one of the propellers stopped. Now its a $600 paper weight. Wont turn on.
