Biggest mistake is buying a dji drone that comes with a STUPID and never intelligent battery. These batteries gets pregnant after 9 months of purchase (Battery swells) causing the battery to be ejected from the drone during flight, ending in a crash. dji are so devilish by indicating in their policy that batteries are covered for 6 months only, because they know that at 9 month these batteries are giving birth.

I put a rubber band around mine. But the updates have helped to be aware of securing the battery before flight .

Why are you double down-voted? These are amazing tips every drone pilot should recite. Some I didn't think much about previously, like setting to hover or land if flying UNDER something. The 3rd person tips are great, as are most others. Thanks!
