Couple questions for X7 users. Are you shooting -3 for Contrast, Sat and Sharpness across the board? Also, does the X7 only have Normal,D-Log and Cinelike color profiles?
As for Contrast, Saturation and Sharpness settings it is entirely to your liking, experiment with these. I'll suggest to keep it simple at Standard (neutral) settings. As for colour profile, anything other than Normal, D-Log and Cinelike is considered as profane among professionals . Cinelike seem to be the best choice for novice graders.
