Like the idea of interfacing the OP with a scope!  How have you actually interfaced with the eye piece?  Simply held it there and used the tiny screen (or connected phone) Did you focus the scope first then let the OP do it’s thing?

I held the OP at the eyepiece for this quick test (focused the telescope first). Set the OP to manual mode and focus mode to AFS. Going to try to modify a smartphone holder so I can mount the OP to the eyepiece instead.

Thanks for the update. Just a thought... what’s gained by using the OP over, say, a dedicated phone mount and phone?
Also, by ‘manual’ I take it you mean no stabilization?

By manual I meant manual exposure. Forgot to add that the gimbal was set to FPV mode as well. Nothing is gained by using the OP instead of a phone and phone mount I guess, other than being a fun experiment.
