Just wondering is this ever going to be fixed or if I'm missing out on exactly how it works?

I shoot pretty much everything in log, but it makes it very hard to see exactly what im doing when flying and its displaying the camera feed as log on the screen.
there used to be an option to put a preview rec709 lut on the video feed to add the contrast to see what im doing, but thats now gone.

is this ever going to come back or is there a way around it?
It's extremely frustrating.
