Can anyone tell me what happens when you set your home point to the controller and not a fix GPS land point, if the controller then loses signal does the craft return to its last position of the controller, in other words does it track the controller every few seconds??

It will revert to the last home point that was recorded before you set it to the remote controller. But generally the connection and last coordinates are followed by the drone and if the location of the RC is within range when it's descending then it'll pick up the signal and land accordingly...
