I just ordered a Smart controller and wonder if I get a anti glare screen protector if it will degrade the quality of the screen? I think I tried one on my cell phone in the past and didn't like how it looked but I can't remember 100%.

Hello and good day Raydee. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. I hope that you will get the beat recommendation from our valued DJI co pilots who uses this said screen protector. In addition I will be posting a link where in you can check the overview and the specifications of the PGYTECH Smart Controller Screen Protector for the DJI Smart Controller. Thank you.

When I purchased my SC, there were only "glossy" screen protectors so that is what I purchased.  I generally prefer matte since it greatly reduces glare.  I admit that it does affect screen clarity a little but I find it a worthwhile tradeoff.  I recently got a screen protector for my Crosstrek nav screen and it is matte.   The original screen was so glossy it was impossible to see.  I saw (no pun intended) no purpose in protecting the screen with another glossy surface.  Yes, there is a bit of change to the display but I can read it even if the sun is directly hitting it.

Maybe you can compare yourself.  Go to one of the malls where they protect cell phones and ask to see the different with matte or no-matte.
