My camera doesn't auto-shoot and I have it connected with USB-C to the Ronin-S.  I've ordered an IR cable as I think the A7 won't allow the PC remote to shoot.

You just can't pano and video w/o it.  I mean, can't.  You can do photographs and small quick vids but any motion and pano will Not work if you don't have it.

I mean, you cant take pictures w/o the Ronin-S.  You just cannot pano perfectly w/o luck.  You cannot film w/o vibrations unless you get lucky.

I have an A7 III and Ronin-S.  Of course, I have tried it out.  I wouldn't get one if it didn't matter.  My first cinematic shoot was so shaky it was bad.  The one now is a lot better!  The client was reluctant on paying me $300 to do it but I said I got a Ronin-S this time.  After making the film, they like it a lot now and want me to come back next month for another.

I would have never upgraded from the M2Z if it weren't for commercial work.  : )

I've pretty much made all the money back from the earnings so my DJI stuff is free.  I have to pay the A7 off next but it comes.

I need to start using the M2Z again for fun.  That is such a reliable drone.  Not as cinematic as the P4 though because when you have the longer sticks, you have more cinematic control.
