You'd think that an issue as bad as that would be their top priority for a new FW update... I wonder if the fix is harder than they first expected?

Whats with Hyperlaps Fotos with Rock Steady?

Bought a DJI Osmo in Amazon Prime deal.  I have not opened it yet and  waiting for update on the display delay issue and features/fixes in the next firmware update.  

What to do.

Wow we got updates not everything on the wishlist but as an owner of a GoPro 7 it has so many teething problems that were never sorted out, OA is tearing stripes of the go pro7 .

Open the box and start enjoying it, it gives superb stable video when strapped to a bike or any other moving platform. For many uses the slight delay when using Rocksteady will be negligible or even immaterial.

It works well in the Osmo Mobile (2) gimbal using the pgytech action cam adaptor, to produce nice steady HDR video, or others at wider FOV with RS off if required.

They have made shutter & exposure values visible on the auto/manual setting screen when the camera is set in automatic mode. Previously only the ISO & 'Maximum ISO' values could be seen. The alternative would be to use Manual mode where you would set the ISO & Shutter speed to suite your requirements.

So hopefully the UW housing will follow shortly after that little fish...

I did swim with this cam in the sea. No issues. What that case for? To make internal mic sounds even worst?

You are a swimmer, I am a diver. 11m is ok for you but for many insufficient. What kind of noises do you want to pick underwater, turtles having sex?

Could be dolphins or humpback whales making their sounds ;-)  With or without case won't effect the sound recording much under the Water.

Ok mr diver. There is an underwater case for OA from Telesin company. Approved 40 meters underwater.

1st of all your post is totally irrelevant to my answer... what point are you trying to make? In case you forgot, this is your original post: “I did swim with this cam in the sea. No issues. What that case for? To make internal mic sounds even worst?” Now you post photos of an UW case...
2nd, no it is not good. I bought the 61m version and it is unfortunately very flimsy. There’s no way it can go so deep, it feels very fragile when closing the latch... I’ve worked with UW cases for many years and this thing is very thin with brittle  hinges but for now and until DJI launches its own case it will do.

I am considering an action camera - either GP7/8 or Osmo Action. If it wasn't for the screen lags (when Rocksteady is on, I presume most people would want this on most of the time) it would be a no brainer to choose the Osmo Action. Unfortunately, that issue is too big to ignore.

DJI Team - you guys need to get this fixed, you are losing a lot of potential customers because of it. I really hope it's not a hardware issue. I will be making my purchase decision based on what happens first: availability of GoPro 8 in my country or DJI fixing the screen lag. I actually know a few people with the same purchasing dilemma. What a shame, the Osmo Action is such a great camera in so many ways (and superior to the GP7 in a lot of areas) but failing miserably on this one (big) issue.
