Can anyone show me how this would fit in a backpack?

The same way anything else would fit in a back pack, take it out of packaging, place in backpack.

Not very helpful... Gimbals have to be treated carefully in order not to break

We're hoping that you could get the best recommendation that you may need for storing the Ronin SC inside the backpack. Cheers!

I hope so too, have yet to find it though

Might be difficult indeed.
There are dedicated backpacks / cases for the RS, so there will be some for the SC also in the nearby future I guess.

I really hope Lowepro makes something. I have used a backpack of theirs the last year, brought it around the globe, and it still holds up

This is my exact concern too. I have the Lowepro 350 AW II backpack and I want to see if the gimbal can fit inside, i THINK it will be possible with a bit of rejigging but hard to get a definitive answer!

I actually have that exact backpack. Maybe you could fit it in the tripod holder outside, but not good for longer travels. I think you could fit it inside, but that would seriously limit what else you can bring. Thinking about getting the bigger 450 because of that. What camera do you have?

Fortunately I only have the M50 so it's a tiny camera, and most of my lenses are small apart from the Sigma 18-35 which is a bit bigger. I think once the Ronin-SC is detatched, it can fit in the top down compartment if you rejig the other positions?

Yeah it might fit nicely there. I Have an A7 iii with three lenses, some of them heavy... And a Mavic Pro with extra batteries and stuff. Already jam packed

I've got my Ronin SC arriving tomorrow, I'll update the post to see if I've managed to fit it in and how!

Mine is 10yrs old and I have not found a better one yet.

I decided to buy Zhiyun Weebill S instead, haha. I bought the Lowepro Protactic 2, it should be perfect for Ronin SC as well. Lots of space. If you want to see the shots i got with this gimbal (and with my Mavic), check out this video:
I basically traveled all around southern Spain with all my gear in this one backpack. Worked like a charm!
