For rapid deployment. All I need to do is connect the grip to the Ronin-S, then setup the camera balanced on the mount and I'm good to go!! No need to balance everything and set everything up or lay it doing w/e in some bag.
I've already consulted companies to make me a case, but they charge too much, $400-$500 that isn't even as good as the DJI case material.
In the beginning, I was like then then knifed it with ease. I vacuumed to keep things clean during DIY. I then used the Dremel torch on the lowest setting to keep the fraying to a Zero. I've hot glued some thick weather strips to make it tighter during transport. I've added military helmet velcro padding to the camera case area. I think it came out great. . I'm so Happy my Ronin-S and Camera have a home to come with me around the world with.
The struggle of carrying it around w/ the camera attached, not being able to smile back at people as I'm trying hard to paying attention to the setup that it doesn't crash into anyone or fall, just to walk a hundred feet from the vehicle w/ no case is now gone.
