Anyone recording while mountain biking under tree cover? I've used 1080  or 2.7 in full Auto and the sharpness is terrbile. I set ISO to 3200 and  the video is completely washed out when coming into sunlight. I set ISO  to auto and speed to 800 and the vids are too dark, as if auto ISO  isn't changing based on light conditions.

Any help is appreciated.

Try using a ND filter.

Hi Tim,
i also have some problems with biking videos under the trees. I think there are too many „informations“ for the sensor. Use 4K, so the video looks sharper. The problem i also have, is the combination between shutterspeed and rocksteady. I think rocksteady is only working with faster shutterspeed than 1/120 of a second. It doesn‘t matter of you film with 25,30 or 60 fps. So 60 fps with faster than 1/120 is the best. But in the forest you need too much ISO and the quality is not good.
Look at the best video scenes... it’s all in the sun.

So search bright places for better quality.
