I got this update notice on my Smart Controller today.
No update was performed or possible. I guess this is for Android devices excluding the Smart Controller?
In Google Play it still shows version 4.3.20.

I had the same notice appear on the Smart Controller yesterday but no update occurred. The current Go 4 app version on this SC is 4.3.16.

unable to download the same update.. progress failed at 30%.. error code reason : 0x03080113.
any idea please? cannot take off

Also got this notice just a moment ago. No update is available in Google Play. I went to the forums to check if this update is any good or not...

They are just warning that the next update, won't work with the flight simulator. It hasn't been released yet... Still there will be people complaining that updated the app and the flight simulator no longer works...

Simply, DJI takes it very calmly and does not give any information about it.
Therefore, take it easy, you too.

He should have just said that   yet another forum where you can't ask a simple question without getting a smart ass reply

Hello, keep in mind that the flight simulator on Android will NOT be available with this update, However, the same does not happen with IOS, in which it will be available after updating to 4.3.24

i realised i have the .21 version on my SC. But the latest final is .16. Can you explain, why i have a beta version installed? I never installed anything apart from when the controller offered me an update prompt. Does DJI install beta software on my device without letting me know?

As far as I know you only receive beta if you apply by e-mail to be a part of the program.
If you wish to do so I think you can downgrade via DJI Assistant software...
